Yoga will always be my first love and primary form of exercise. However, I believe that a training program should incorporate multiple modalities in order to avoid gaps. Outside of yoga, I love to walk, hike, and occasionally run. My favorite trails in Colorado include:
- Pitkin Lake, Gore Lake, and Deluge Lake Trails, Vail
- Missouri and Fancy Lakes Loop, Holy Cross Wilderness
- Blue Lakes, Telluride
I struggle to motivate myself with traditional weightlifting so I attend Lagree classes. Often mistaken for “reformer Pilates,” Lagree is a low impact, high intensity form of resistance training practiced on a spring loaded machine. I currently practice and am in the process of becoming a certified instructor at PLNK at the MTN location in Avon, CO. For more information about Lagree, please visit PLNK‘s website, or reach out to me for information. Once I am fully on the schedule I will add information about practicing with me at PLNK MTN.

Yoga Mats & Props
- My Liforme yoga mat is hands down the best mat I have ever used.
- The Mat from Lululemon is also stellar.
- The Oko Living Mat is an alternative mat option, although it can take bit to get used to gripping the fabric.
- For a lightweight option, a cork yoga mat is absorptive with a great grip.
- Cork Yoga Blocks are sturdier and therefore are my preference.
- A Yoga Wheel is a wonderful addition for passive backbends.
